Fur coats are a timeless, classic cover up option for winter brides with a penchant for all things vintage.
They are the perfect blend of cosy, practical and oh so glamorous.
For those of you (like myself) who wouldn't want to wear real fur, there is a huge variety of realistic faux fur options available in all shades and styles. And let's not forget the vintage, film star appeal of a fur stole wrapped over the shoulders, as modeled perfectly by the bride below:

Why cover up?
I think it's important for brides (and grooms) having a winter wedding to consider a warm cover up option. Of course you'll want to show off your beautiful gown in all it's glory throughout the day and into the evening but a fur cover up will be especially useful for those romantic photos of the two of you together outside in the cold, maybe even amidst the falling snow. (Think of the ‘snuggling' shots!)
After all, you don't want to be shivering, cold, damp and grumpy on your wedding day. A fur coat or stole is a chic way to keep you nice and warm while still looking gorgeous.
