Happy Friday everybody,

As you can probably tell from my previous posts on David Fielden's pastel hues and Vera Wang's black wedding dresses, I love it when brides opt for non white wedding dresses. I'm a classic girl at heart and always pictured myself in a white dress on my big day but the more brides I see daring to be different, the more I wish I'd at least considered other shades.

If you open up your mind to a coloured wedding dress, you also open up a whole other world filled with gorgeous dress choices because you're not restricted to the sea of white found in bridal shops…

You could hire a stunning evening gown at a fraction of the cost of a wedding dress, buy a pretty vintage ball gown or go all out and get the designer dress of your dreams. It'll be money well spent as you'll be able to wear it more than once!

From subtle pastel shades to bright and bold jewel toned dresses, I love them all but this post is dedicated to the boldest of brides and the brightest of colours…

Sunnies at the ready!

I realise a coloured wedding dress is not everybody's cup of tea but just imagine, in your wildest dreams, if you had the chance to wear any colour wedding dress what would you choose?

I'd go for red or blush pink…

But romantic, dreamy pastel wedding dresses are for another post in the not to distant future. Stay tuned lovelies!

*Did anyone get the Rainbow Brite reference? I loved that show as a kid!
