This sweet engagement shoot takes us on a tour of San Francisco, a place I'm growing to love more each day.

It's so wonderful to see a loved up couple enjoying each other's company as they explore the city. Expect trams, BIG hills, views of the Golden Gate bridge from the beach and one seriously chic yellow dress with an oversized bow.

The soft, beautiful photos are by Melanie Duerkopp ~ here she shares a little more about the shoot:

Engagement sessions are so much fun to do. The process of documenting and sharing a couple's journey together is a pleasure. In this session, I worked with Jordan and James, and I wanted to be able to capture both the essence of their city, San Francisco, while also focusing on them first and foremost and sharing their personalities. What makes these photographs pop is the yellow dress that Jordan selected–I absolutely love it.

We started our session at the Ferry Building along the coast of San Francisco, picking out traditional and rustic backdrops as scenery. From the classic look of the cable cars to unique sculptures outside of their home, to the iconic scenery of Ocean Beach and San Francisco's bridges, we were able to tell the story of who they are and the city that they spend all their time in.

Congratulations to Jordan and James, wishing you all the best with your wedding plans.

Many thanks to Melanie Duerkopp for sharing her gorgeous photos with us today. They make me want to put on a pretty dress, grab Zee by the hand and explore San Francisco some more!
