Happy Memorial Day!

To all my US readers, I do hope you're enjoying the long weekend.

All my lovely readers, wherever you are in the world, did you see this amazing proposal video I posted? It truly is a must see ~ expect to cry big fat, happy tears.

As a little salute to all the brave men and women in the military, I thought I'd recap some of the gorgeous military love shoots I've featured this past year.

(I had a little SATC moment over the weekend when I saw a sailor in his pristine white uniform ~ you've gotta love a man in uniform!)

May I present 5 handsome, brave men in uniform and their gorgeous gals…

~ Ashley and Zach's Dear John esque engagement shoot captured by  Holli True Photography was oh so romantic. Who can resist love letters?

~ Lauren and Chris celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary with a gorgeous Vintage Americana Military shoot complete with Coca Cola bottles and a train station reunion!

Photos by the fantastic Rachel Brenke Photography ~ see their full military anniversary shoot here.

~ Liz and Billy had a modern, city chic military engagement shoot. A dashing soldier, a model in white and one seriously loved up, happy couple made for some beautiful photos from Visionyard Photography.

See their full city engagement shoot here.

~ Sally and Justin opted for a unique, vintage inspired aviator anniversary shoot where they shared dip kisses amongst the planes. Sally had the pin up look down to a tee and David Champagne Photography did a brilliant job behind the camera.

Take a peek at the rest of this retro fabulous anniversary shoot here.

~ Here's a film for all my fellow wedding film lovers.

Pete and Siobhan's exquisite film is by our very own wedding videographer, the super talented Rupert Ward Lewis. There is some stunning footage of Pete in all his military regalia as well as precious moments during their ceremony.

And finally, here's a link to a truly wonderful blog called The Welcome Home Blog dedicated to sharing the incredible, joy filled reunions of men and women in the military with their loved ones (including, sweet films and photos of very excitable dogs happy to see their owners!).

Some really touching scenes, perfect for today. Expect to cry even more big, fat, happy tears!
