Hello sweet readers,

It's always exciting when a new issue of the oh so chic online wedding magazine, Reverie comes out.

As you can be sure that within it's virtual pages will be the loveliest of real weddings, the most stylish of styled shoots and the work of some of the most creative and talented people in the wedding industry from the UK, US and internationally.

But yesterday, when the Summer 2012 issue went live, it was SUPER exciting for me because a beauty tutorial shoot I styled was featured ~ in an eight page spread, no less!

At the end of last year I worked with some of the most well respected, talented and creative artists in the UK to create a beauty tutorial shoot with a focus on timeless bridal hair and make up.

Bridal beauty has always been a particular passion of mine and from the outset, I've featured regular beauty posts on Bridal Musings, as I feel it's essential for a bride to look and feel her best on her big day.

Whether that's by following a health and fitness regime, starting a skincare or nail care routine, hiring talented beauticians, make up artists and hairstylists or from utilizing DIY beauty tutorials.

I truly believe that bridal beauty should be about enhancing a bride's own natural beauty…

And if anyone knows how to make brides look and feel like the most gorgeous version of themselves it's Severin Hubert, renowned hair stylist and director of the Hepburn Collection and celebrity make up artist Mariam Jensen!

Here's a peek at the finished looks created by Sev and Mariam and photographed to perfection by Dasha Caffrey.

I'll be sharing more photos from the shoot here on Bridal Musings (and waxing lyrical about all the lovely vendors involved!) very soon, but for now, I'd love it if you took at peek at my first ever magazine feature.*

Thank you to Mary and Kate of Reverie Magazine for featuring our shoot and the lovely spread they designed for it.

I'm feeling all proud and honoured to have worked with such a fantastic team of people and for being featured in such a beautiful publication.

Oh happy day!

xx

*not counting the time I was on the cover of Your Surrey Wedding pulling a very weird facial expression!
