So yesterday I shared Michelle and Ryan's oh so lovely wedding and Part 1 was all about the stylish, and very large, bridal party.

(Be sure to click for 10 pretty mismatched neutral bridesmaids dresses and nude shoes to admire!)

Part 2 is all about their eclectic, vintage chic reception, where they had an intimate ring ceremony conducted by Ryan's best man in front of a darling BHLDN backdrop, beautiful soft, pastel florals, a vintage cake table and a charming sparkler exit.

Michelle's here to share all the details…

Soft Pastel Florals

I loved my flowers! I had Garden Roses, Peach Finese and Sahara Roses, Gardenias, Snapdragons, Stock, Ranunculus, Football Mums, Hydrangeas, Parrot Tulips, Dusty Miller and Brunia in my arrangements and centerpieces.

Darling DIY Projects
For Favors, we made cd’s of a bunch of our love songs and put a photo label on them. We thought it would be fun to have our guests be able to listen to some of the songs that we grew up listening together. I did some DIY projects including the customized chalkboard that I painted, then traced with chalk.

Eclectic Décor & Details

I put up these beautiful BHLDN pinwheels, fans, and tissue poms on the exposed brick wall. It looked awesome! For my centerpieces, I found vintage mirrored trays at Antique shops, and put random vases, teacups, and milk glass bottles on the trays and filled the bottles & cups with flowers. It was a very eclectic, antique feel.

The Refreshments

We served parmesan breaded turkey sandwiches, parmesan breaded chicken salad sandwiches, Spinach & Artichoke dip with bread, and meatballs. For dessert, we served chocolate cake, and crepes with different sauces; chocolate, raspberry, & buttermilk.

I decided that instead of having one wedding cake, I wanted a cake table with 3 different cakes displayed! I loved how they turned out, all three being different. It went along with my eclectic feel.

The Entertainment

We made our own playlist for the music which was fun because we got to choose everything that was played! Our first dance song was a cover of the Beatles song, “I will” sung by Ben Taylor.

Favourite Moment and Advice

A favorite moment is hard to pinpoint, I loved every second of it! One of my favorite parts of the night was shooting the bridal party pictures, and going to Sammy’s burger joint afterwards. Taking a second and hanging out with my bridesmaids and letting loose from all the stress of trying to make everything perfect, was my favorite part of the night. So that would be my advice – on the day of your wedding, try not to stress…and just enjoy every moment!

Sweetest. sparkler. exit. ever.

Anyone else want one of those BHLDN bunting and pinwheel backdrops in their living room all day everyday just because…?!

Many thanks to Michelle and Ryan for sharing their beautiful day with us (find out more about their newlywed adventures over on Michelle's lovely blog) Thanks also to the super talented Alixann Loosle Photography for sharing these dreamy images.
