Remember last week I shared a glimpse into a beauty shoot I styled with a dream team of wedding pros?

Well here come the tutorials so you can recreate those gorgeous looks yourself!

Over the next couple of weeks top industry experts Severin Hubert, hair stylist and director of the The Hepburn Collection and renowned celebrity make up artist, Mariam Jensen, will be sharing step by step tutorials on how to create two classically beautiful, but very different, bridal looks.

First up…

The Romantic Bridal Look

Gentle tumbling waves and soft, barely there make up are the perfect combination for a romantic bridal look.

Romantic Waves ~ Tutorial by Severin Hubert of The Hepburn Collection

Prep Wash hair and use just a small amount of conditioner (this is so that the style will hold better). Then apply mousse to wet hair. Rough dry hair until it is 80% dry.

Step 1 To create the base for this style, first smooth your locks by using a smooth round brush and dry with a hair dryer.

Step 2 Using a medium size tong take sections of hair and wrap around, hold for a few seconds and secure with a pin.

Continue tonging and pinning and leave to cool for a few minutes.

Step 3 Take out pins and let curls drop. Place your head back and break up curls with your fingers.

Step 4 Gently brush through curls and shape into desired style then spray with a fine mist of hair spray.

Step 5 Finish style with a shine spray to give that glossy look.

Step 6 Admire your gorgeous waves and wait for the compliments to roll in!

Beautiful no?

This is one of my absolute favourite hairstyles and I often wear my hair like this on nights out. Evidence here and here.

It always feels a little soul destroying brushing through all of your curls (and hard work) but trust me, it's so worth it when you end up with smooth, glossy waves!

Here's a handy cut out and and keep / Pinnable version:

So what do you lovelies think?

Will you be wearing your hair down on your big day?

The Hepburn Collection are a team of top hairstylists that help brides to achieve heavenly hair on their big day. They are based in London but happy to travel plus they have a great big Bridal Musings seal of approval because Sev styled my hair for my wedding and I LOVED my glamourous, vintage waves.
