Today we're talking wedding music and oh how I love these posts.
Not only because our resident expert, John from Aria Melody DJ, knows how to compile killer playlists to suit a wide variety of tastes but also because music seems to really resonate with you lovely readers.

It's the moment after you say ‘I do', the joyous climax to your ceremony ~ finally, you're pronounced husband & wife, wife & wife or husband & husband. Your friends and family erupt in a wave of applause!
We've compiled a list of our favorite modern recessional songs from client playlists and music libraries ~ upbeat, happy and celebratory!

You can always ask your DJ to edit a specific portion of your favorite song – the key is to time it so the moment the ceremony ends (the DJ should always get the exact cue to hit ‘play'), the song makes it feel big and joyous.
We covered everything from the classics (Stevie Wonder, The Turtles, The Beatles) to happy-go-lucky (Hall & Oates, Colby Callait, Kyle Andrews) to left-of-center (Sondre Lerche, Angels & Airwaves, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros).

#2 Joy ~ such a great build up and fun, quirky tune.
#15 Sweet disposition ~ love the 80s vibe
#22 Happy Together ~ it's all about the sweet lyrics
#30 You And Me ~ it kicks in at 50 seconds with ‘Aaaand it's always you and me always and forever!' Perfect.
#26 Dog Days Are Over ~ watch this epic proposal film (featuring a certain DJ) and you'll see why I love it so much!
