It's Rose and Ruby Paper Co time again!

Thanks to Rose, we have beautiful mood boards to look forward to every weekend here on Bridal Musings.

Last week's dreamy Dove Grey, Blush Pink and Gold board proved to be a popular palette amongst pastel loving brides and got a whole lot of love on Pinterest.

This week's board is inspired by travel to beautiful, colourful places like Mexico and decadent supper parties with a hint of retro playfulness.

Perfect for summer soirees and destination weddings, don't you think?Rose-&-Ruby-Wedding-Inspiration-Board-2-Turquoise-Fuchsia-Colourful-Retro

To recreate this look at your wedding:

• Turquoise and fuchsia go really well together if you’re looking for a vibrant fun palette with a hint of retro and these shades are great layered using different textures to make the colours feel tactile.

• Mix with flashes of other jewel tones like orange and yellow. Fuchsia and turquoise work superbly with gold, which adds lavish exuberance.

• You only need a flash of these colours and strong colour needn’t be too matchy matchy. Mix with white and strong natural neutral bases like hessian, kraft paper or wood. Neutrals will compliment and give balance to the palette.

• Stick to a traditional beautiful wedding gown and play with a flash of bright lips or hot shoes.
