Imprint Cinema strive to tell the story of each and every couple in their wedding films. I love how they captured the special moments leading up to Lauren and Patrick's wedding (including, quite possibly, the best groom's gift ever) as well as the joy, laughter and beauty of the day itself.
From The Cinematographers…
One of my favorite parts about this wedding was that Lauren called us in to be a part of Patrick's wedding gift. Lauren had never been able to surprise Pat with anything and she was determined to buy a big TV, place it in their home, and have it set up for the groomsmen's football day without Pat ever knowing.
Of course we were in so we went with her to buy it, filmed the boys set it up, and Pat's reaction. It made such a fun mini-story in their film and was such a special part of their weekend to them.

From The Bride…
I wanted to keep the decor simple to not take away from any character of the house. I was so blessed to work with so many wonderful vendors, it's almost like they were mind readers. I was all over the place when it came to selecting colors, fabrics, flowers and changed my mind on a daily basis. I finally chose a palette of peacock blue, champagne gold, and cream (of course with some hints of soft pink, but we avoided saying pink around the husband to be).
We decided to have a cocktail style reception, no formal seated, plated dinner – a mixture of a few round tables with simple centerpieces and lots of candles, but mostly cocktail tables scattered throughout the house. Probably the most untraditional part of our wedding was our cake, or lack thereof.
We had a gourmet cupcake food truck come to our wedding and Patrick and I actually served cupcakes from the inside of the truck to our guests, this was so much fun and our guests LOVED it!
In planning our wedding, the most important thing to me about our wedding style was I wanted everyone to say, “this is so Lauren and Patrick.” I think we succeeded with this, it truly was the perfect day and if I could do it over again, I wouldn't change anything, except for it to last longer!
