Hello friends!

I hope you enjoyed the Easter break and managed to step away from wedding planning / work for a little while. Was it a full-on choc fest in your home too?

This morning on Bridal Musings we're welcoming Springtime with a pretty, sunshiny palette and wide open arms!

This Modern Romance via Inspired By This

 Sunshine Yellow & Powder Blue

This is a real spring palette with a hint of preppy chic and brings a touch of sunshine to any day even if it’s cloudy!

Yellow is such a joyful colour and works wonderfully with more traditional wedding colours, especially when used in a playful manner. Teaming yellow with a pale powdery blue softens your palette and adds a slightly dreamy quality – gorgeous with a white dress!

 Wedding Styling Tips

– These colours work beautifully with fun decorations from pom poms to giant floating balloons. Have fun creating your ceremony space or aisle and don’t forget a fab space for photos.

– Use hints rather than block colours if you want to keep it delicate – white flowers like hydrangeas and peonies work as a lovely base with flashes of colour using tiny flowers as accents. Try forget-me-nots, yellow ranunculus, miniature daffodils, dancing or spray orchids and pale blue sweetpeas.

– Mismatched china looks great especially if you stick to a colour theme and these can make pretty favours for your guests to take home.

– Carry this theme through to your outfits – why not try a subtle blue striped shirt for your groom or a pretty ditsy print for your maids?
