Aloha!
Sorry for disappearing on you guys – my amazing husband planned an action packed first few days here in Oahu, Hawaii to celebrate my birthday.
It's been a whirlwind of welcome leis, vintage plane rides, surf lessons, swimming with dolphins, and a delightfully cheesy but fun Luau.
Our next stop is The Big Island where there are volcanoes waiting to be explored and then we're hopping over to Maui for a taste of some of Hawaii's best beaches.*

I haven't forgotten about you but, as it turns out, I really really needed a break…
The plan was to line up lots of pretty posts for you all in my absence but, after a mini meltdown over my ever expanding inbox, I've been ordered to take a much needed blogging/social media/email break. To switch off, read a book (instead of a screen), get back to nature and take some time for myself and my husband.
It's been blissful so far.
I do hope you are able to do the same at some point this summer (that includes taking a mini break from wedding plans/stresses) – even if it's only for a weekend or a day.
