I've been wanting to feature Hermione's beautiful bridal adornments ever since I first met the lady herself in San Francisco last year. Hermione was visiting California to launch her red carpet collection (which went down a storm, as you can imagine) and I'm pretty sure I audibly gasped when I first saw her as she was wearing one of her own intricate headdresses!
Designed and lovingly handmade in the UK, each exquisite piece in her collection is a work of art.
I just adore the delicate, femininity and timeless quality of her designs as well as the unique way her headdresses sit so close to the head – perfectly entwined with each bride's hairstyle.
Speaking of which, don't the models look stunning? I'm loving the romantic hairstyles by Becks of Thairapy and the ‘blushing bride' make up by Amy-Elizabeth Make Up. While I think you'll agree the romantic dresses by Naomi Neoh are a perfect match with Hermione's headdresses and dainty earrings.
This dreamy shoot took place amidst the faded grandeur of Goldney Hall in Bristol and, with Catherine Mead Photography behind the lens, you just know it's going to be stunning!
Hermione shares a little about her new collection:
The Hermione Harbutt 2014 Collection offers a soft and somewhat ethereal collection of pieces, drawing on the beauty and femininity of a couple of disparate elements including nature and ballet. My work has always been influenced by bygone eras, particularly by the decadence of design from the early 20th century which really lends itself to statement bridal headdresses. As such, I have used pearls, Swarovski crystals and gemstones, which are always my materials of choice, but for 2014 I have introduced soft tulle and chiffon, as well as hand made silk flowers, all of which add a new texture and a graceful element to the headpieces.
Beyond beautiful. Did any one else audibly gasp?!
