Oh how I love a barn wedding.

They're often associated with summer fetes filled with colourful bunting and Pimms but there is nothing more romantic and cosy than a winter wedding in a beautiful old barn surrounded by winter white baby's breath, soft candlelight and fairy lights.

A talented team of UK wedding pros came together to create this dream of a shoot at The House Meadow in Kent.

Featuring romantic florals by Frida and Sophia Floral Design, fabulous furnishings by Event Covered, kraft paper stationery goodness by Gemma Milly, rustic fare by catering company Home Gurr'own, a sugar flower adorned wedding cake by Flossie Pops Cakery and exquisite photos by Kerry Ann Duffy Photography.

Kerry shares a little more about the shoot:

The backdrop of Horseshoes Barn provided the main inspiration behind the shoot. With it’s unspoilt ancient Oak timbers and contrasting faded tin roof we were keen to focus the shoot around natural materials and embrace a variety of textures. The colour palette lent itself to the countryside surroundings focusing on forest greens and pale blush pinks with highlights of metallics to give the shoot a wintery edge.

Romantic Hair & Make Up

Nicola of Wedding Make Up By Nicola created two gorgeous bridal looks for model bride, Meg. Bambi lashes, smokey eyes and nude/berry lips complemented perfectly by tousled waves, a messy fishtail braid created by Charlotte Rowden at Urban Hair.

While her oversized floral crown of blush pink roses and soft, rustic cotton balls is one of the prettiest and most unique floral crowns I've ever featured! (And I've featured a LOT – here's 30 of my faves.)

Dreamy isn't it?

Many thanks to Kerry Ann Duffy Photography and the team behind this wonderfully wintery inspiration shoot for sharing it with us.

Anyone else having a winter barn wedding? (I was a summer bride but this shoot makes me want a do-over…same man of course!)
