How about a peek at Vera Wang‘s latest wedding dress collection to get the week off to a gorgeous start?

(We'll take it as a given that you're nodding your head and grinning right now.)

Now, as you may remember from Vera Wang's previous wedding dress collections, the New York based designer doesn't shy away from the unconventional. Whether it's black wedding dresses, hot pink hued gowns or kinky leather gloves, Vera Wang knows how to make a statement. That's why her catwalk shows are always so hotly anticipated.

This year, however, in what Huffington Post are calling her boldest move yet – after 24 years of debuting her latest designs on the catwalk, Vera Wang decided against an actual fashion show and opted to debut her Spring 2015 collection in the form of a fashion forward, film/visual presentation instead.

*Gasps*

As for the actual collection, it's full of Vera Wang's signature full, tulle skirts and feminine silhouettes but also boasts a host of edgy, deconstructed details and unusual textures (laddered, cob web esque lace anyone?).

The gowns are nothing short of breath taking but be warned, the campaign images are a far cry from your average, romantic bridal collection – the styling is of the ‘heroine chic' ilk – think lank, lifeless hair, kohl smudged eyes with frostbitten eyelashes.
