As I mentioned when I started with Bridal Musings, I'm a little bit of a magpie.

I'm obsessed with all things gold and bejewelled, and have a particular affinity with Monica Vinader.

Monica Vinader is a Spanish-born, British-based, designer, with an eye for easy-to-wear, contemporary pieces, using ethical sourced materials. A firm celebrity favourite, Kate Winslet, Anna Kendrick, Cara Delevingne, Sienna Miller and Cat Deeley are all fans.

Ever since I discovered her jewellery (about four years ago) I haven't been able to get enough. My collection currently consists of a gorgeous gold Fiji Bracelet (with a brown string for “Success”), and a set of stacking rings from the Siren collection, which I pair with my other (not so fine) jewellery for a really luxe look. But I've my eye on these emerald onyx beauties too.

What I love about these pieces is, not only are they really beautiful, but they're rather unusual too. I can't tell you how often I'm asked where my jewellery is from when I'm wearing them. With unusual shapes, and bold gems, they combine the finish of fine jewellery, with a look that's a little bit quirky and bohemian too.

And because of this, it makes really fabulous bridal jewellery. From chic and refined diamond pieces as a gift for your bride, to sweet and thoughtful friendship bracelets for your bridesmaids, or indeed a gift to yourself, with a pair of statement earrings as your stylish Something Blue.

Something Blue

It can be so hard to find Something Blue for your wedding, that also happens to be chic, and in line with the rest of your bridal style. Not any more. From statement lapis, to luxe aquamarine, these blue beauties will give a chic twist on the tradition.

Let's Be Friends

These might be my favourite! From their fun Fiji collection, to engraved Bali bracelets, say thank you to your bridesmaids in style with these beauties. Available in gold, silver, and rose gold, with a whole host colourful ties, tailor each bangle to your bud. A serious upgrade on the friendship bracelets you used to swap at school, don't you think? Monica Vinader also offer free engraving, so you could also gift your bridesmaids with a gorgeous personalised pendant.

Stack ‘Em Up

We're rather partial to stacking our jewellery around here, and Monica Vinader is quite possibly the designer that kick-started the trend. Mix and match from different collections or pile high with your signature style, Monica Vinader's website has a Ring Stacker feature allowing you to try before you buy and create your own stack online. Nifty.

Rose Gold And Romance

I'm rather obsessed with rose gold, it tends to set off stones in a really unique way, and gives a romantic finish to plainer pieces. Pair with blush stones or grey toned gems for pretty and feminine wedding day jewellery.
