Wedding days should be fun, right?
That's why we just beamed from ear to ear when we clapped eyes on Clémentine and Mehdi's love and laughter-filled wedding day in Bologne-sur-Mer, France.
Captured candidly by Pauline Franque, the theme of their wedding was Rock ‘n' Love, and we can’t think of a better way to sum it up.
Getting ready together at home (we LOVE this idea!), a fun photo session by the sea, a quick stop for their civil ceremony, then the most intimate and personal rustic wedding with all their closest friends and family; their day was filled with sunglasses, singing and smiles.

Our Wedding
For our wedding, we chose our “Rock ‘n' Love” theme. We wanted something like us, simple, convivial, and fun.
The place, a beautiful farm with its field and cottages was so perfect for creating a rustic atmosphere.
We decided to both get involved in the preparations, creating the the save the dates, the wedding invitations and homemade decorations. Just magical moments together!
We decided to do an outside lay ceremony, fully orchestrated by my brother, a musician and real artist.
A ceremony with our favourite rock songs and all sung by a choir all made of our family and friends. The most touching moment was when we improvised a slow version of ‘Stairway to Heaven' played by my brother before saying our vows.
For the colours, we chose white, pink and blue and of course the famous Liberty pattern for the British touch!
From the preparations (together in our apartment) to the magical and funny photography session with Pauline Franque, everything was perfect!
After six months of research to find THE photographer, we found Pauline! A life-style photographer with a retro style, the session will remain an unforgettable moment full of laughs and emotions.
Isn't it just beautiful! Their ceremony sounds just so personal and sweet, and I love the idea of a pre-wedding photo session, so you can just relax and spend the rest of your day with your guests. Such a cool and casual couple!
