The Wedding: Captured in his signature vintage 8mm style, this sweet wedding day by one of our favourite filmmakers, Mark Brown, stole our hearts with an impossibly chic bride, an utterly dapper groom, garden cocktails, an abundance of candles – and one of Claire's all-time favourite songs as the soundtrack.
The Most Fun Pizza Party in Italy
The Couple: Anna and Andrea
The Filmmaker: Videare
The Wedding: Anna and Andrea's Italian wedding in Assisi sticks out as one of the most fun, informal, yet utterly chic celebrations we've shared this year. A Chanel dress, an open top car, sunshine in the hills and pizza and dancing 'til the wee hours; weddings like this one, are what La Dolce Vita is all about.
The Intimate and Informal Almost-Elopement
The Couple: Kevin and Suzi

The Wedding: We featured Kevin and Suzi's intimate Vancouver Island wedding, witnessed only by their immediate family, just a couple of weeks ago, but it immediately stood out as one of the most unique and special weddings we've featured this year. A beautiful example of why striped back and simple often makes for the most memorable celebrations.
The Fun-Packed Weekend Getaway
The Couple: Sam and Mary
The Filmmaker: Daniel Jeremiah Productions
The Wedding: We loved the fun, easy-going feel of Sam and Mary's wedding film, a two-day celebration, where their friends and family got away from it all, and let their hair down on an Oregon winery. Totally romantic, utterly stylish, and super relaxed, this wedding film inspires us each time we watch it.
The Music Video (On a Glacier!)
The Couple: Simon and Andrea
The Filmmaker: Sunshine Wedding Films
The Wedding: This wedding film (nay, two wedding films) are utterly epic. One is a romantic bridal party sing-along, and the other, is the most involved, creative and outrageously fun wedding film we've ever seen. One of our videography highlights of the year? Absolutely!
The Old Hollywood Movie
The Couple: Linsey and Angelo
The Filmmaker: Marco Caputo Films
The Wedding: This Positano wedding was one of the most glamorous affairs we featured on the blog all year, and it had a suitably cinematic wedding film to match. A divine Galia Lahav wedding dress, an epic Amalfi Coast setting, and a beautifully romantic sunset, this wedding film has got it all – and then some.
