About The Collection
My aim for the collection was to capture the spirit of a sophisticated bride, a woman inspired by classic styling with a hint of old world, Parisian flare.
I’m inspired by vintage styling and feminine glamour in a clean and modern aesthetic.
The collection features buttery soft veils adorned with delicate French laces, and handcrafted bridal headpieces, hair pins and crowns which feature signature hand-beading, exquisite freshwater pearls and shimmering crystal accents.
I love to combine textures and details and I’m inspired by the harmonious blend of exquisite details for a unique and personalised look.
As all pieces are handcrafted piece by piece, custom changes are always possible and I love working one-on-one with my brides to help bring out their unique style for their special day.
I’m really excited about my debut range of bridal jewellery which is also part of this new collection. The range includes bridal earrings and wedding bracelets which can all be customised to suit the complete 2015 collection.
How To Choose Your Wedding Day Accessories
Comfort Comes First
Comfort should always come first and you will want to feel comfortable all day knowing that your headpiece and accessories feel secure.
Similar to shoes, practice wearing your headpiece around the house before the wedding, especially if your chosen piece is large, heavy or features netting that may partially cover your face.
Planning
Give yourself plenty of time to plan and decide on the details of your accessories – after all, your veil and wedding accessories can be just as important as your wedding dress when it comes to achieving your unique look.
The beauty of handmade accessories is that you can be part of the design process so allocating extra time for these special details will ensure you get the perfect look for your big day.
Be Flexible
Look for accessories that are designed to accommodate the natural curve of your head – or preferably, they’re wired internally allowing for flexibility. This will offer you and your hairstylist versatility when it comes to styling your bridal look.
Some accessories are designed to be worn in a specific way so be sure to let your accessories designer know of your chosen hairstyle to ensure the piece will work for your look.
