We're so so delighted because today, we get to share the first of our favourite wedding dress collections from this season's Bridal Market. We'll be featuring lots of stunning collections over the coming days, so stay tuned and don't miss a single dreamy detail.
But what an collection to start with! The oh-so-glorious, Marchesa.
Marchesa held their Spring/Summer 2016 showcase in the legendary St. Regis Hotel in New York on Saturday, launching their spectacular new selection of wedding dresses.
And while we'll have their full stunning collection to share with you guys in a few weeks, today we're going to take a sneak peek behind the scenes with some shots from backstage.
Working with Bobbi Brown and Moroccan Oil, the hair and make-up looks were simple, yet ultra modern, to give a high fashion look to the classic gowns.
Marchesa is renowned for elegant, yet show-stopping wedding dresses, and this new collection does not disappoint, with a return to Marchesa Bridal's signiture romantic textures, dramatic skirts and sophisticated detailing.

Marchesa’s Bridal Spring 2016 collection presents a hallmark of romance and drama in ethereal and dreamlike quality. Signature silhouettes capture the femininity of the brand’s delicate collection with enchanting details rendered in extraordinary fabrics and cascading layers of elegantly draped sheer tulle, organza and lace.
Blossoms appear in wistful expressions throughout the collection. Intricate threadwork upon tulle and faille with 3D fabric petals translates into dégradé effects adorned with gleaming metallic floral beading and feather flowers creating romantic art.
So elegant, beautiful and almost regal – wow!
I do love the glossy editorial campaigns, and glamorous runway shots, but there's something about behind the scenes photos that always give a better look at how the dresses move and sit – don't you think?
