Another day, another gorgeous collection from this season's Bridal Market.

And this is one we were pretty excited about seeing ourselves. The always interesting, Theia.

A New York fashion house, with a sustainable ethos, headed up by Irish designer Don O'Neill, Theia is known for blending the classic with the contemporary, with collections that are innovative, experimental and evocative.

Continuing their signature for contrasting styles, the Theia Spring 2016 collection has everything from buttoned-up Victorian collars and billowing sleeves, to sheer shirt and pants suit bridal ensembles.

Luxe silks and exquisite lace sits seamlessly among cool cropped gowns and stylish halter dresses -watch out for some dreamy florals, ruffles and butterflies too!

Whether you're a daring bride looking for something eccentric, or a chic bride searching for an elegant gown with thoughtful details, you'll find something in this exciting selection of gowns.

We'll let the talented team from Theia tell us a little more about the inspiration behind their gorgeous new collection…

From the Designer

The Theia Spring 2016 Bridal collection is inspired by the whimsical Art Nouveau illustrations of Danish illustrator Kay Rasmus Nielsen. He was born during the reign of Queen Victoria, and worked in the early 20th century during the Belle Époque Era.

He illustrated books such as “Fairy Tales By Hans Christian Anderson” and “Hansel and Gretel” and “Other Stories by the Brothers Grimm”.

The Theia bride follows him on a journey through his illuminated magical pages filled with Victorian dancing princesses skipping through enchanted forests.

This fairytale conjures brides in weightless transparent embroideries as though spun by spiders, cobweb-fine Chantilly lace, butterflies fluttering on silk organza, Art Nouveau-inspired hand beaded gowns and an otherworldly bodice created using the 21st century magic of 3-D technology.

Aren't they enchanting? I love how some are so classic and simple and others are utterly out there! Some beautiful options too for brides who want a wedding dress alternative, and I adore the grey details and florals too, for something a little different.

Theia wedding dresses are priced from $1500 (£1000). Visit the Theia website for more information on stockists and styles.
