Weddings are often rather well co-ordinated affairs. From the bridesmaids to the florals to the napkins, each thing falls in line under a theme or colour scheme.
(I can't tell you how many times I've been asked what my ‘wedding colours' are!)
Which is why we love this creative inspiration shoot by Jason Wasinger Photography and online stationery and decor supplier, Elli (the same team who brought us this artistic shoot a few months back).
Because cool, modern wedding decor isn't about matching your chair ties to your bouquet ribbon, it's about gathering both your influences and bringing them together in a personal way.
While this shoot has something of a bohemian vibe, it blends Southwest textiles, with rustic timber, a beach backdrop, classic decorations and modern floristry, for a look that's relaxed, eclectic and so romantic.
With a team of Portland wedding vendors creating a dreamy aesthetic (all inspired by a stationery suite!), we'll let the team at Elli tell us how this boho beach wedding inspiration came together…

Inspired by natural elements immersed in the contrast of rich hues and a romantic setting of beachfront and wild flowers, Elli celebrates their Rustic Beach invitation suite.
Bringing the Northwest to life, with a cozy-on-up picnic setting, complete with a custom rustic wine carrier, seasoning salts for those summer bonfire eats and a decadent cake for, well, think that’s obvious (yum!).
We love the easy-breezy bridal styling, as its never a good idea to complicate beauty. Delicate, with a bold eye to accompany, we are happy to appreciate the gold and pearl adorned bridal crown.
Isn't it so dreamy – I just love the picnic set up and the flowers, it could be so easily transferred to a wedding tablescape. And that Elizabeth Dye wedding dress is just beautiful!
