Adorable Pillow Fight Engagement Shoot

We're not sure if you've noticed, but we haven't be sharing too many engagement shoots lately.

We still love them (they're fun, creative, and so freakin' adorable!) but we know you busy brides and grooms have such a limited time to scour the internet for wedding ideas, so, while they're pretty gorgeous, we know our engagement shoot posts don't tend to pack in quite as much inspiration as say, a styled shoot, planning post or real wedding.

But Chloe and Andrew's Toronto engagement shoot, by Anastasia Giaouris of Olive Photography, is the exception to the rule.

This is one engagement shoot idea we reckon you're going to want to pinch for yourself!

A pillow fight!

Such a sweet, impromptu and candid way to capture a couple, and if you ask us, that's exactly what an engagement shoot should be all about.

This was a fun one.

Chloe and Andrew greeted me in their pyjamas when I visited their lovely, well-appointed Toronto home (Chloe did a fabulous job decorating!), and we talked a bit about what they like to do together on lazy weekends.

Being in pyjamas, lounging on the couch and reading the paper was on that list, so I photographed them in their natural element.

We also couldn't resist the opportunity to have a pillow fight! It was hilarious to see their ‘mean mugs' pre-game (Chloe's was by far more menacing), and also to see the two of them smashing each other with the pillows. Surprisingly, Andrew did *not* hold back! He went right for Chloe's face! Hard! It was a riot.

After that, they got dressed and we went for a stroll at a nearby park, Old Mill, and took some shots with the golden sunset light.

Photographing these two is a breeze, and this engagement session is definitely one of my faves.
