A couple of weeks ago, we shared a shoot on the blog that was a little bit (and I hate this word!) hipster. And judging by all the hearts it got on Instagram, you guys loved it.
While couples should never aspire for their wedding to be ‘trendy', if you're a couple who are cool, quirky, or dedicated followers of fashion, then of course you should include those elements in your day.
Which is why we're sharing another shoot today, that's not just a little bit hipster, but is also laden with timeless rustic decor, an idyllic setting, and chic style, that any couple could adapt to their wedding.
And who better to create such a shoot, than some of the finest wedding vendors in the home of the hipster, Portland?
Photographed by Jenn Byrne Photography, and styled by stationers Elli, the shoot is set in the beautiful De Ponte Cellars winery in Oregon.
With pops of colour alongside kraft paper, and urban attire in a rustic setting, this shoot is the perfect example of how to fuse traditional styling with modern details, and pay homage to your surroundings, while still incorporating your own ideas too.

About the Shoot
Inspired by our Rustic Winery wedding invitations, Elli, an artisanal wedding marketplace, gathered the best of the best in Portland vendors, to pull together a rustic wedding with a modern industrial flair.
Set in gorgeous Oregon wine country, we paired rustic furniture with bold metal accents, bright florals to add a touch of whimsy, and a funky Edison lightbulb favor for guests.
We included subtle DIY details like a wine-themed welcome basket for guests, as well as statement decor pieces, like a floral adorned garden arbor and floral petal patterned aisle.
Isn't it chic? I just love the bride's hair and make-up and that cute collar really sets it off. The cake and florals are so pretty too.
