These ocean blue watercolor wedding invitations are so stunnning!

Who else needs to inject some vibrant color into their lives today? I’m not sure what the weather is like where you are (shout out to all our tropical readers, so jealous) but I’m growing a bit tired of the grey snow trash piles outside my house. So, I’m very happy to be oohing and ahhing today over Lola Event Production‘s electric, ocean blue styled shoot with the prettiest watercolor invites. What a sight for sore eyes!

The splashes of ocean blue filling the scene and paper goods is accented by antique gold and blush pink, making this scene so ready for the Spring season (just a few weeks into winter, I know I am too!) Bringing even more warmth and sunshiney feels are the tropical leaf name cards, a totally doable wedding DIY if you ask me.

The fashion also compliments the rushing ocean blue scene so well. From Alexandra Grecco‘s light blue tulle skirt to the vintage-inspired, yellow gold, art deco engagement ring by Susie Saltzman (such a fan-girl of both designers!) the whole scene has transported us away from the barrage of snow storms to the stunning, Spring weddings to come.

Being in Chicago, it’s not too often this team has the opportunity to work in a magical setting surrounded by water and lush vegetation. The Morton Arboretum was so inspiring to us, we knew we had to take the opportunity to set a breathtaking tablescape in the middle of the amazing forestry it provides.

Soft, whimsical, and airy were the adjectives we used when describing our inspiration and vibe for the shoot. We loved using a wide variety’s of blues and greens to play into the colors of Meadow Lake and the surrounding trees. The whimsical and awe-inspiring chandeliers floating from above played into the magical feeling we wanted brides to feel when looking at Artistrie Co.‘s photos.

Colors and style were all tied together with the soft tones of the mallard velvet linen complimented with gold flatware and glassware, royal blue toned dishware, and a perfectly unique gold veined charger. We loved the look of a mix and matched table setting to go with our loose and understated design scheme.
