Succulents, teepees, vintage rugs oh my! Today’s bohemian styled shoot, filled with Southwestern details and free-spirited flair comes from an unlikely place – Switzerland!

While the decor may seem unusual for a fête in the crystalline, Swiss Alps, the scenery makes sense! Take one part natural mountainside scene, another part golden sunset hues, through in a whole lot of boho goddess looks and teepees (we love teepees!) and you can recreate the Southwestern vibe just as chicly halfway across the world.

And the florals are stunning! Jewel tones, King Protea, Eucalyptus, pops of pink and burgundy – the color scheme and floral choices are so hip, eclectic and totally chic. The tablescape features a trend we admire from boho set-ups, comfy mix and match pillows and cushions. So perfect for a cozy, late summer, mountain elopement.

Our creative team traveled to the Engadin on a gorgeous Indian summer day. This region, with its warm and radiant colors, is truly magical, especially at this time of year. We picked Lake Sils near St. Moritz as the location for our “Boho Wedding Dream”. The steppe-like shores of Lake Sils, surrounded by mountains, make for breathtaking beauty.

Our team consisted of two photographers, one videographer and a host of other talented people. Miriam and Hans of Fleur Deluxe provided us with wonderful floral arrangements in warm colors such as burgundy, soft pink, and dark green, wedding arch decorations and flower garlands. The flower arrangements blended perfectly into the accompanying artwork made up of Persian carpets, dreamcatchers, and golden accessories.

We also came fully equipped with a marvelous wedding dress provided by Chris Libuda of Lacely and two creative and delicious cakes from Cake Ladies that matched the decoration theme. In keeping with wedding conventions, we added save-the-date cards, making sure that we obtained original and fitting paperwork from YourSign. The beautiful bride and her bridesmaids wore stunning jewelry from Steinkult, which completed the picture.

The scene came alive with some finishing touches that included a tipi, pillows, and beautiful vintage-knit elements that reached us from Berlin, courtesy of Tipiyeah. Before we started shooting, Mihaela from Miracle Beauty and Tania from Tania Vernucci adorned our models with playful hairstyling and color-coordinated makeup.
