Have I told you guys that bougainvilleas will be our wedding flowers? I’m so obsessed, every time I see any bundled bougainvillea bouquets in weddings and styled shoots I save every single photo, it’s one of the only decor details I really care about.

So, when IDO Events sent us yet another steamy, Spanish editorial – this time filled with my favorite flowers of-the-moment – I just had to share it with you all.

The floral inspiration is rather understated in this gorgeous shoot – with bougainvillea petals gracing the organic cake and filling the spaces of the lush fuschia colored bouquet. But I say that’s alright because it’s the three wedding dress changes that shine brightest.

We’ll happily use this sultry, cobblestone Marbella elopement inspiration as an excuse to wear three wedding dresses on our day (as if we need an excuse). Sourcing from Spanish designers, the looks go from totally sleek and modern to absolutely romantic – who says a bride can’t have it all?

IDO Events teamed up with talented and creative wedding professionals to put together their vision of a unique bridal shoot inspired by “small yet stunning Andalusian city of Marbella and its vibrant atmosphere.

There is something so magical about a couple getting married in the small, dreamy streets which make for an intimate wedding ceremony setting, captured so beautifully by the amazing Kevin Klein. And when in Spain, shooting by the beach is almost a must, especially at sunset.

All three of the looks the bride is wearing are from Spanish designers, one more gorgeous than the other. The overall look is romantic, yet, kept very modern with the accessories and the styling. The idea from Stella Loewnich behind the hairstyles was to balance out the beautiful and incredibly elegant dresses Pronovias and Sofia et Voilà provided us with and bring an element of youthfulness into the overall look. That’s why all of the hairstyles had a modern, airy, slightly tousled texture to them paired with a classic makeup, complimenting our model Lisa’s beautiful skin tone with shades of warm browns and peaches on eyes and lips.

For the rest of the decoration and the flowers we wanted them to reflect the spirit of Andalusia and combined the beautiful vibrant colors of the city with delicate blooms. By adding some unique flowers, like bougainvillea or wild vines, that are quintessential for Spanish flora, Anna from Corcortez Floral elevated the overall design by giving it more interest and texture.
