Alfresco Italian weddings often pull on our heartstrings. The familial feel, the olive trees, the rustic stone venues – we get caught in daydreams of sipping on Chianti with a pile of prosciutto and dish of olives.
Today’s Tuscan wedding is even dreamier than you could imagine – the wheat fields, the endless rustic touches, the sumptuous dinner, it’s as though we’ve died and gone to Siena. Holly & Ryan held their intimate nuptials at The Lazy Olive, a Tuscan villa venue that looks just as charming as it sounds. Below the olive grove, the two married in front of fifty friends and family in front of a stunning, classic view of Siena’s rolling vineyards – swoon!
The lucky crew then retreated to the rows of olives to find a charming imperial farm table (we’re so obsessed with this set-up!) flush with classic Italian dishes, a gelato cart and copious amounts of good Italian wine. All of this dreamy goodness was captured by the sultry, candid lens of Federica Cavicchi.
