Whew! Another bridal fashion week down, and so much to gush about! Did you catch any of our runway stories? We were so tickled by Jenny Yoo‘s new modern, minimalistic, ‘cool bride' update we just had to share her bridal and bridesmaids dress collections to you first!

Call it the Meghan Markle effect, call it rollin' with the times, Jenny Yoo's latest wedding gowns & bridesmaid dresses updated to an even sleeker look to her always clean and playful palette of gowns. While Dawson, the backless halter neck was a clear ode to our American royal icon, so much of the runway showed similarly minimalistic and sophisticated silhouettes – silk slips, clean crepe and figure-flattering sheaths.

Being a modern, minimalistic bride myself (still dying over that halter!) I've always felt the backs of my wardrobe pieces should be just as important, if not even more even more intriguing than the front. Jenny Yoo delivers on this desire in both bridesmaid & bridal, giving us low backs, keyholes, slinky crossed straps and romantic bows. Thank you, Jenny, for keeping us picture perfect at every angle!

And capes, oh the capes! While many designers crafted embellished avant-garde pieces, Jenny Yoo opted for minimal capes with clean tulle and silk pieces that drape sweetly behind from sleeves and straps. These additions are perfect for the bride who covets the cape trend but does not wish to detract from their main fashion statement: their wedding gown. Particularly fresh is Rosalynn, a sweet and simple off-the-shoulder sheath with tulle that floats airily off the sleeves.

Strapless silhouettes made a not-so-quiet resurgence across bridal week this season and Jenny Yoo spoiled us with her take on the returning style. Maybe the most iconic “Jenny” of the bridal collection, lovely Leigh featured the feminine florals, a foldover strapless top and a clean A-line silhouette. This look is so polished and so very charming.

She continued, of course, to deliver more bridesmaid dresses your gal pals actually want to wear. As I forwarded to all my engaged babes – I'll be wearing Dina (love the rouge!) to all of their events, whether they like it or not.

When I grow up (ha!) I want to be just like Jenny – ever-so-creative, elegant, personal, a trendsetter who is willing to change while always staying true to herself. The latest collection and our sweet greetings with Jenny and the team proved this true: Jenny Yoo remains a guiding light in modern bridal taking advantage of what Jenny does best – celebrating youth and the joyful day these gowns were created for.

Also, big news! Designing with today's bride in mind, Jenny Yoo has teamed up with Lovely Bride (yay!) for this capsule collection, hello trendsetting heaven.
