Bohemian Misty Blue Bridal Inspiration

Misty Blue River Goddess Bridal Inspiration – Jaypeg Photography 4

Cooler temps call for cooler tones and we’re all for it in this Swiss river goddess bridal inspiration featuring misty blue details and watercolor stationery.

It’s all in the details in this very simple, very natural bridal editorial – from the vintage-style engagement ring, wild array of florals & delicate sparkling headpiece, every picture features a new delightful piece of inspiration. While watercolor invites are nothing new around these parts, we love the luxurious addition of gold foil which sparkles against the natural riverbed stone.

And the gown, oh the gown! What does a river goddess bride need? An ethereal, bohemian Rembo Styling dress of course! We had the pleasure of meeting the designers a few weeks ago at Bridal Fashion Week & we can’t think of a more appropriate, free-spirited brand to pair with this wild & natural inspiration photographed in Switzerland by our friends at Jaypeg.

From Jaypeg Photography

To create this editorial, we drove to the Valley Verzasca in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland. We had the honor to shoot a bridal inspiration shoot – with fine art elements on a wild, clear river. A photo shoot that inspires one to dream.

This valley in Ticino, with its blue-green water and the grey rocks that preserved its original beauty, went along perfectly with the bride and her half-up hairstyle, her silver golden head-piece and the wonderful pastel-coloured bouquet.

Aside from us, the photographer Jasmin and the videographer Matthias, the team was composed of many more talented suppliers…

The Florals & Dress

A wonderful bouquet with blush, creamy and silver-green shades was crafted by Tabea Maria Lisa. This bouquet fit perfectly into the ambiance of the Valley Verzasca, alongside the head-piece of La Chia, the ring of Steinkult and the anklet.

In our luggage we also carried a breeze of lace, a wonderful wedding dress from Rembo Styling which was kindly provided to us by Ellen Edel from Edelbrautmoden.

The Stationery

Festum Artis has created a noble fine-art stationery set with gold and silver elements using a special watercolour technique. The smokey blue stone ring from Steinkult and the stationery and shoot location matched perfectly.

The Beauty

For our bride Marina, the talented hair and makeup-artist Mihaela from Miracle Beauty and Makeup created a playful, loose hair styling and a make-up that harmonized perfectly with the whole look.
