We must touch first upon Bride Myriam’s impeccable style. Her Beba’s Closet gown has so many romantic, delicate details we don’t have enough time in the day to gush over each but that lace embellished back, oh how fabulous! Styled with a wax & dried floral crown (made by the bride & her mother) and a long tulle veil, Myriam’s bridal look is everything we dream of in vintage hippy vibes.

The dashing couple continued to tug on our heartstrings by including their one-month-old babe in the wedding ceremony carrying the rings (awww!) Join us swooning over these cinematic photos & an extra video treat at the end!

Our Love Story

They knew each other because they had some friends in common but it was in 2011’s Carnivals when they kissed for the first time.

Javier proposed to Myriam in Cuba, in Trinidad Square, on Myriam’s birthday. She said, “Yes, yes, yes!”

The Dress & Attire

The dress was a Beba’s design, purchased at La Suite Room. She wore a beautiful pair of mauve shoes from Salo Madrid. She also wore a flower crown made of wax flowers and dried flowers made by the bride and her mother styled with a tulle veil. Her engagement ring, made of white gold by Luzz.

The groom wore a dark blue frock coat by Protocolo Novios and a white shirt by Scalpers paired with black shoes by Silbon. Shirt cufflinks by Scalpers. Watch by Emporio Armani, a gift from the bride. He wore a mauve tie, a mauve and fuchsia cashmere scarf by Protocolo Novios and straps by Silbon.

The Florals

The bouquet was made of peonies, hydrangeas, daisies and paniculata lyophilized, designed by Floristería Los Abetos.

The Venue

All the details of the wedding were in the same tone, including the invitations. They wanted something rustic with flower and watercolour details.

It was a civil ceremony, they married in Hotel Rural Ruta Imperial’s garden surrounded by one hundred sixty-three guests. They didn’t have a wedding planner but Mamen (the hotel’s wedding planner) help them to prepare everything.

Favorite Moments

The couple’s daughter participated in the ceremony, she carried the bride & groom’s rings and was just forty-six days old on the day of the wedding.

The Reception & Details

They had different food areas as a sushi bar, a cheese bar, a mimosa bar. In the restaurant, they had cherry gazpacho with caviar oil, cod tartar with ali oli and tomato, mandarin sorbet, Iberian meat with acorn sauce, and coconut pineapple with cherry ice cream.

As wedding favours, they prepared some products from Extremadura including marmalade, jam, honey, paprika, olive oil and homemade wine and beer.
