Organic, beachy brides will have plenty to love in this oh-so-romantic & earthy So Cal elopement inspiration. From an emerald green bridal jumpsuit (or maybe bridesmaid look?) to a candlelit cave cocktail, our hearts are swooning for this earth-toned scene.

We’re refreshed to see beach elopement featuring a dress that’s more often featured in city-chic weddings, rather than a natural scene. And it absolutely fits – the vintage sequin gown positively shines against the glittering sunset waves.

But it’s the earthy green jumpsuit that we’re absolutely obsessed with. Whether you’re a color-minded, badass bride or an Autumnal bridesmaid this look is sophisticated, modern & incredibly flattering.

Getting these shots in the cave and the rock tabletop reception was no small task. Kalon Weddings got her toes and legs wet with salt water, while models Haley and Sarra took a little dip in the water as well. Elopements are adventurous and fun and we wanted to show that off in this shoot.

The look for this shoot was inspired by modern crisp tones of white and black with touches of brass. Incorporating a few select pieces of vintage wear and glass cups was also key in bringing this design together. The super talented jeweler on this shoot designed killer brass hair pieces, a boutonniere, and a bouquet wrap!

The Inspiration

Design inspiration for this shoot was from the brass pieces custom made by Silver and Quill. We were inspired by modern metallic accents and the crisp clean look of white and green with vintages vibes to keep the look classic.

The Tablescape

The tablescape was meant to be a natural element to this look. Using a rock as the tabletop with some gorgeous light green fabric to flow over both ends. The tide coming in created a unique setting of dinner on the water, literally.

The Flowers

The flowers were inspired by the traditional round bouquet, but with a modern loose feel. Tying the bouquet off with a brass cuff and some ribbon was a key component to this bouquet and overall look.
