I can't think of a more perfect way to kick start Bridal Musing's chic new look than with this romantic wedding in Portugal designed and styled to perfection by Branco Prata.

I've been an admirer of André and Sofia's dreamy photography and styling ever since I was a bride so it's such a pleasure to be featuring their beautiful work here today.

Daniela and Pedro's wedding was full of my favourite things – baby's breath, classic black tuxedos, sunshine and lots of love. There was also an abundance of hearts from the decor to the stationery and even unique, heart wands for the flower girls! (And as you all know I'm a sucker for a heart.)

Daniela was a vision of elegance in her exquisite, feathered, Manuel Mota wedding dress, nude platform peep toe heels and chic ballerina bun adorned with pearls.

 From the Bride…

Being engaged to be married was a truly magical moment and I put all my efforts in planning our big day. We were lucky to get one key piece of advice early on, which was to prioritize and stick to it.

The images of our wedding day that will remain in our minds and that we will be able to share with our children and grandchildren are the ones that are immortalized in photography. Because of that, photography was our number one priority. Luckily we found Branco Prata and immediately selected André and Sofia to work with us in photography, design & styling and stationery.

Through them we get to know Fábio Coelho, The Amazing Rabbit. We were astonished with the fantastic “same day edit” he made for us. We put in a lot of time to find our vendors and thankfully we did.

For inspiration I visited lots of wedding blogs daily. We wanted a modern, fun wedding but also sweet and charming. We also tried to do some things ourselves, I have made the wedding hanger for my wedding dress, my mom and my aunts were responsible for the church decoration, flower crowns and the bouquet (where I personally hung a silver heart that my father gave to my mother in the day I was born), another of my aunts made a crochet cloth for the ring bearer and one of my cousins made the flower girl's wands. We had tremendous support through everyone around us. I

On the wedding day, my younger cousins (Beatriz, Diana, Alexandra and Isabel) were my bridesmaids. They were incredible, being always concerned and caring.

There were so many magical moments on our wedding day. Besides saying “sim” to the person I love, we had lots of fun in our entrance in the dining room to the sound of “Dog days are over” from “Florence + The Machine”, we adored the cake ceremony filled with lightened balloons and we always will treasured the smile and happiness of all our family and friends. We wouldn’t have had it any other way.
