Just so you know…

Your Thursday is about to get a whole lot more glamorous.

We're talking Bridget Bardot, meets Grace Kelly on a yacht in St Tropez type glamorous!

It's my pleasure to present Israel based* designer Galia Lahav‘s 2013-2014 bridal collection.

These wedding dresses are impossibly gorgeous – each more show stopping than the next with the kind of exquisite detailing, adornments and applique that you just can't take your eyes off.

It makes me quite tongue tied just looking at these images, so I'm going to hand you over to the team at Galia Lahav to share a little more about the collection…

Galia Lahav's 2013-2014 Wedding Dress Collection

This season Galia Lahav's bride explores the French Riviera, sails her yacht and rides her Harley Davidson from the heels of Monte Carlo, to the hot white graveled beaches in Cannes. From the film festival, the Casino and the royal palace in Monaco this is where royalties, actors, super-models, and celebrities meet and this collection is inspired by two princesses, on and off screen Brigitte Bardot and Grace Kelly.

Body-hugging silhouettes, softly embracing each curve, imperial ball gowns, and statuesque red carpet glamour dresses, all in a modern look, but with a wink at the sizzling 60s. Classic silk satins, chiffons, and French laces, Tulle and dotted net, mixed with hand embroidered details, using crystal and pearl embellishments, and antique cross-stitched ‘Gobelins' medallions and floral motifs.

Here is a selection of my favourites in the new collection, you can find lots more in the Wedding Dresses Photo Gallery.

So what do you think? Amazing right? Perhaps a bit too sexy to wear to church though!

Regarding stockists outside of Israel, I recommend contacting the Galia Lahav team directly but I can confirm that Galia Lahav will be exhibiting at the White Gallery trade show in London and they recently exhibited in Australia which means that their dresses will surely get snapped up by the international bridal buyers who attend (and then wing their way to a bridal boutique near you). Fingers crossed!

*I'm blown away by the talent for bridal couture in Israel at the moment. If you like these designs, be sure to check out my previous posts on Inbal Dror's 2011-2012 bridal collection and her  2012 – 2013 bridal collection as well as these wedding gowns by Zahavit Tshuba.
