Despite having a raging sweet tooth (I can't go into M&S without buying a packet of Percy Pigs) I've just realised that I very rarely feature wedding cakes and sweet treats here on Bridal Musings.

There was this lovely photo shoot for Pretty Cakes of London featuring mini wedding cakes and cute cookies and also some awesome dessert table styling tips from the fabulous Tempting Cake. But…that's about it.

Which is madness. Especially considering that I really enjoyed choosing our wedding cake!

(3 tiered sponge slathered in messy buttercream frosting adorned with blush pink roses. FYI.)

So expect a whole lot more cakey goodness in 2013!

Starting with these beauties…

 Hello Naomi Wedding Cakes

Simple, chic, modern and topped off with the prettiest, most realistic sugar flowers you ever did see.

It's official, I've fallen head over heels for Hello Naomi's wedding cakes.

And I suspect you might too!

The thing I love most about Hello Naomi's designs are the minimalist, simple shapes and ‘sharp' edges juxtaposed with romantic, feminine flowers and delicate hues.

Who knew a square, single tier cake could look so utterly beautiful?

Which is your favourite Hello Naomi cake design?

I'm pretty smitten with the mint ruffles and peach peony combo.

Hello Naomi is based in Newcastle, Australia and they serve Sydney, the Central Coast and the Hunter Valley regions. Check out the website and blog for more info and inspiration.

Pssst…you can find lots more wedding cake inspiration in the Cakes & Desserts photo gallery!
