Grant and Meaghan's wedding at Honsberger Estates, in Ontario was the perfect mix of elegance and rustic, care free charm. The Vancouver based couple love the ocean, so they incorporated a refreshing colour palette of blues and greens throughout their day. They even included a sushi station and a surf van oyster truck!

I adore Grant's preppy, laid back groom style. His gift to his groomsmen? Navy Vans – to be worn with rolled up trousers without socks, of course.

While Meaghan was stunning in her timeless silk wedding gown with a low v back paired with chic, blue sandals and a vibrant blue bouquet of Hydrangeas. And don't get me started on her can't-take-my-eyes-off-it intricate up ‘do!

But the thing I love most about Grant and Meaghan's nuptials is all the joy and laughter, captured exquisitely by Andrew Mark Photography.

 The Attire

Casual/comfortable and styles that reflected each individual.  It was up to each bridesmaid to pick their dress as long as it was a shade of blue. For the guys we again wanted to keep things stylish but relaxed. They wore a rolled pant and shirt with matching vests and ties from Gary Waters.

 The Flowers

Hydrangea was the main flower of choice…simple, yet elegant.

 The Ceremony

The groom loves reggae, so there was a reading from Bob Marley.

 The Photography

Because we're from Vancouver and Andrew Mark Photography are based near Toronto it was Andrew & Emma’s Portfolio that sold us. Their photos offered a soft, magical style that captured candid photos of legitimate intimacy and valued emotion. After a phone conversation with them we were totally sold! We would recommend them to anyone!

 The Refreshments

Sangria upon arrival, Westcott Ridge, Chardonnay, Foreign Affair, Riesling, Megalomaniac, Pompous & Bravado Calamus for Champagne.

Food: We had 4 Food Stations. Each station had gourmet food presented on a plate for the guest to take and staff members to explain what was being plated.  Guests then went into the dinner area to eat.  This added a casual and conversational element to the dinner.
