Winter weddings are often some of our favourites. Warm, cosy, festive, and filled with romance.

But just because it's cold outside and the trees are bare, doesn't mean you don't have endless options when it comes to your winter wedding flowers. From vintage-looking anemones to effortlessly cool proteas to elegant orchids, winter blooms have got the goods to rival any spring or summer bash.

So, following on from her awesome autumn floral post, the lovely Daisy Burgoyne of Daisy Ellen Floral Design is back, to break down the bouquets, and help you see the choice on offer for your own winter wedding.

Over to you Daisy!

Hello again to all you lovelies out there.

Once again I have the pleasure of talking to all you wonderful people about my favourite aspect of the day (minus the cake, venues, dress, stationary etc) – I have a true passion for the beautiful blooms that everyone loves to see on that special day.

As you all may know there's a little ‘big’ day around the festive corner, so I decided to do a post all about some winter recipes that will warm your cockles this Christmas.

With this cold season in full swing it brings a whole new host of floral players to the game. Beautiful Ranunculus, Anemones, Amaryllis and Ilex are stunning blooms that will add a touch of festive feeling to your big day.

So with that in mind, I've chosen some bouquets that will show you that Christmas florals doesn't have to just be tinsel and tack, but blousey, beautiful and with that little touch of sparkle.
