I'm going to let you guys in on a (pretty open) secret. Today is my 30th birthday.
So while I have lots of lovely treats in store for myself today, I'm also excited that I get to treat you guys too. With an idea-crammed inspiration shoot from some wonderful English wedding vendors – let's just say I picked an especially pretty one to share on my birthday!
Photographed by Wookie Photography, styled by The Pink Pumpkin, and with food styling by Styled by Jen this shoot plays on classic, pretty decor, with modern, fine art wedding details.
With The George in Rye as the backdrop, blush and grey tones (a nod to rose quartz and serenity) sit beautifully against the mixed marble hues and luxe wallpaper of the venue.
Romantic florals take centre stage of the tablescaping, with silk ribbons and coloured glassware adding a touch of personality to the elegant styling, while contemporary copper candelabras and flower crown place settings bring a unique, creative feel.
But before I let you scroll down to swoon over all the gorgeous details, let's take a moment to talk about all things sweet and sugary.
Along with all the fancy florals, paper goods and pretty styling, this shoot has donuts, it has macaroon lollies, it has fancy desserts and it has one of the prettiest cakes we've seen all year.
Yep, I told you there was a reason I saved this one to share on my birthday!
That's a whole lot of pretty, right? I just love that cake, and the donut display is a food trend I'm all about (and wish I'd thought of in time for our own wedding!).
I'm off to eat some cake, but in the meantime, thanks so much to Wookie Photography, The Pink Pumpkin, Styled by Jen, The George in Rye and all the wonderful vendors below for sharing their gorgeous wedding inspiration with us.
