Every season we look forward to seeing the latest collections from our favourite bridal designers, but what's even more of a treat, is when you come across a designer who is brand new to the bridal realm – and whose gorgeous gowns we know you guys are going to love!
Savannah Miller is a British designer with a prolific career in ready-to-wear fashion. Last year, she made the leap to bridal with a collaboration with Stone Fox Bride (one of our fave brands for fashion brides), and has since been officially wooed by all things weddings.
Now, she's launched her very own eponymous collection, and we met up with her a few weeks ago, to take a look at her beautiful lookbook, shot by Frances Tulk-Hart, styled by Elle Strauss and starring Dylan Penn.
Not only is the lady herself pretty awesome, but her collection is all kinds of cool as well.
Savannah Miller's collection with Stone Fox Bride was inspired by her own wedding dress (Stone Fox founder, Molly Guy thought Savannah's dress was the most beautiful she'd ever seen and knew they had to meet!) and her own collection is a natural follow on.
Combining influences from both sides of the Atlantic, these are the kind of dresses you could rock at a cool boho wedding in the States or a gentrified country house affair in the UK.
Pretty buttoned detailing, luxurious draping and ultra feminine shapes give the collection a distinctly vintage feel, while beading, a killer jumpsuit and a dreamy bridal coat (look out for the star-embroidered cuffs!) bring it straight up to date.
It can be hard for brides to strike a balance between a cool, stylish wedding dress, that won't date their photographs in six months, but I reckon this collection hits the sweet spot.
I think that last dress is my favourite, (I just love those floating trails from the shoulder, such a romantic detail) but the cowl neck beaded dress is pretty stunning too.
I just love how these designs would be so flattering on all kinds of body types.
