Ideas & Inspiration/Styled Shoots

Eclectic Bohemian Wedding Inspiration from L.A.

Dreaming of an eclectic elopement or a bohemian wedding? Then this shoot is the one.

Entitled Velvet Moonrise, and photographed by Natalia Risheq with coordination and design by Love + Landis, it’s got those achingly cool, laid back Californian vibes. It’s romantic, it’s stylish, and well, it’s pretty gorgeous.

Taking in the stunning setting of Topanga Canyon in L.A., it’s got the most dreamy golden hour shots, along with ideas for boho wedding style, an alternative reception gown and groom outfit, collected decor, and major hair goals (I’ve been trying to perfect that half-up top knot for months!).

Scroll down to take it all in, and read more from Jessica of Love + Landis about the free-spirited inspiration behind the shoot…

From Love + Landis

Velvet Moonrise was inspired by Jimi Hendrix’s “Gypsy Eyes”.

A wanderin’ man yearning for the Goddess that lives in his heart; and when he finds her he becomes hypnotized by her Gypsy Eyes.

This shoot is an interpretation and celebration of their down-to-earth, authentic and intimate love, showcased by eclectic elements like the sound bowl, cozy winter textiles, DIY moonshine favors, and crystals from their personal collection.
