You may have noticed a few changes around here…
That's because today's the day I finally get to share all the cool new stuff we've been working hard on behind the scenes for Bridal Musings ~ hurrah!
Stuff that certainly makes Bridal Musings live up to it's ‘chic & unique wedding blog' tag line!
Bridal Musings is now made up of 3 pretty parts ~ the blog, the film club and the gallery
{All of which you can navigate between using the tabs above the top bar.}
THE BLOG
The blog is staying the same, except for the added bonus of the 3 latest real weddings featured at the top of the homepage that look a little something like this:
I wanted to create easy access to the latest real weddings because when I was planning my wedding, the thing I wanted to look at most on wedding blogs was real weddings. I wanted to see what other brides {not models} were wearing and how they brought all the details together for their big day. I'm guessing {and hoping} lots of brides feel the same too!
FILM CLUB
This is the part I'm most excited about!
It was really important to me to include an area on Bridal Musings dedicated solely to cinematography ~ I LOVE wedding films and am so glad that we have beautiful footage of our wedding to share with our children and grandchildren. {I've popped it on Film Club if you want to have a peek!}
I wasn't that keen on sharing the odd film here and there ~ though some films were just too good not to share!
I wanted a place especially for films ~ the funny, the romantic, the beautiful and the epic ~ all under 10 minutes long. Bridal Musings' Film Club is that very place and I may be somewhat biased but I think it's pretty awesome! I'll be collecting some of the best wedding films out there to feature and they'll be easy to browse by wedding style, location or tags.
GALLERY
We also created a Gallery which is dedicated to fab finds and darling details. You won't find long editorial posts here ~ it's all about inspirational imagery. I'll only be including the most beautiful, inspiring, chic and unique images and ideas.
It's a bit bare at the moment…but never fear soon it will be full of lovely images!
Over the next few days I'll be adding lots of new content to these areas of the blog ~ as I want them to be jam packed with inspiration for you guys. The handy tag feature makes it really easy to filter through the videos/images to help you find exactly what you're looking for.
WIDGETS
There are lots of new fancy widgets and features down the side bar so watch out for those too ~ such as the top 5 most popular posts this week/month/all time on each area of the blog and a teeny tiny video player to entice you with the latest videos {click the the arrows to scroll through}.
EMAIL ~ INBOX INSPIRATION
And now there's a quick and easy sign up form for daily inbox inspiration…where you can receive the latest posts/films/images from Bridal Musings into your inbox without lifting a finger.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! But there are a few annoying bugs and things that aren't quite ready yet, so please bear with me over the next few days as I upload content and sort out the finer details.
My fingers are tightly crossed hoping that you like the new features and that you'll find them useful and inspiring!
