Vintage brides will love this wisteria covered palace wedding inspiration

I can practically smell the floral goodness from this wedding inspiration through my screen (is that weird? Sorry, it’s true). Fulham Palace could not be more perfect to inspire the most romantic, wisteria filled Spring wedding of our dreams.

We can’t get over what a gorgeous setting the wisteria covered estate is for a bridal shoot (and wedding!) The romantic, whimsical gowns for the shoot make for super dreamy portraits – vintage-inspired tulle and lace to match the castle, and illusion paneling to satisfy the romantic but modern bride. We appreciate the modern, intricate tiara; a palace bride needs her crown.

And a perfect castle wedding (from my New World perspective, this totally fits the castle category. UK brides are spoiled with such amazing estates!) needs ornate crockery and fine stationery, no? The talented team succeeded in that department setting the tablescape with fitting floral china and shimmering gold flatware. The elegant invites feature fine calligraphy atop splashes of olive watercolor, keeping to the romantic theme.

I decided our shoot should be a beautiful mixture of eclectic, vintage-inspired botanica with a hint of Palm Springs. I wanted our venue set up and Bride to look as though they were pulled out of a Millais Waterhouse scene and dropped in California. Botanical deep greens mixed with dirty vintage blush and peaches and hints of magenta. As epic a shoot I wanted it to be, I realised that actually, the finer and more beautiful things about a wedding – the things that are most important – are the moments of the day.

This is where my suppliers came in. We wanted to capture the feelings and emotions of the steps leading up to the wedding as well as the build-up to the ceremony. Touching on the Kiddushin, the veiling of our Kallah, and the circling of the most beautiful Chuppah by our Bride Kallah.
