Yellow and grey is one of my favourite wedding colour schemes, it's so modern, fresh and fun! And the amazing DIY details that the bride handcrafted for this beautiful backyard wedding just add to the sense of cool, quirky fun.

Christina and Dominic were married in Arizona, USA and their wedding was captured beautifully by Jen of Kreatid Photography and Design. Jen shares a little more about their day:

Christina created the groom's key boutonniere and made all of the tree decor based off of ideas she found on Etsy & Pinterest from the old book wreaths to the bird cake toppers.  She scourged thrift stores and markets for the old furniture and TV that welcomed her guests into their family backyard wedding reception. Old windows housed the table cards for guests as they arrived. They hung vintage Italian light bulbs framing the dance floor and reception area.  The bride, who is a graduated culinary pastry chef, also hand made all of the desserts and wedding cakes!

That last image is magical. After I got over my initial nerves and embarrassment, that's just how my first dance with Zee felt ~ like the rest of the world got a little blurry and there was just me and him. Sigh.

Thanks to Jen of Kreatid Photography and Design for sharing this gorgeous wedding with us. Wishing Christina and Dominic a very happy marriage!

Who else is loving the TV and mailbox idea as much as me?!
