New York City sophistication meets the idyllic Southern countryside today in this beautiful black-tie wedding filled with personal details.

At first glance, one would have to guess this gorgeous winery wedding took place in the French Countryside – rolling vineyards, lush forests & a Burgundian style manor. So, you can’t blame us for being delightfully surprised that you can find the beautiful winery of Chateau Elan not far from Atlanta, Georgia (major win for all of our Southern & East Coast brides looking for old-world elegance stateside!)

Not only did Kelly & Ryan bring their New York City glamour to the upscale estate, but a number of personal & unique details. Of the many thoughtful touches, we’re loving the couple’s seating chart filled with photos of every guest, most of which we’re sure got quite a lot of laughs.

I knew the first time speaking to Kelly that her wedding was going to be beautiful- not only does she have great style, but her mixture of Southern upbringing, New York City sophistication, and elegant simplicity comes through so clearly. Throw in her dapper and stylish groom, Ryan, and you have a soiree that is bound to be memorable!

Their black tie Chateau Elan wedding was a mixture of classic elegance, trendy gold details, and attention to guest experience that was brought together flawlessly by the amazing team at Detailed I Do’s.

It was important to Kelly & Ryan to create an experience for their guests since nearly all of them were traveling in for the wedding. To give them extra quality time together, they hosted a pre-ceremony cocktail hour on the portico above the ceremony lawn and greeted their out-of-town guests with custom welcome gifts.

The Ceremony

Kelly had two wedding bands that framed her ring- one to be placed on her finger by Ryan and the other to be placed on her finger by Ryan’s young son, Tru. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Tru came forward and it was such a beautiful example of how to incorporate children into your wedding ceremony.

The Details

As another special touch to honor their guests at the reception, the couple hunted down fun photos of every single guest who would be attending and printed their table number on the back. Find your picture to find your seat! That paired with their signature cocktails, relaxing lounge area, and the jaw-dropping Monique Lhuillier jumpsuit Kelly put on after their first dance, it was a reception her guests are certain to talk about forever!
