So many elements speak to us as wildly awesome inspiration for brides & grooms looking for something a bit ‘edgier’ on their wedding day (while still so pretty!) For one, our bride’s sparkling alternative wedding dress is a stunner. In nude & silver sparkles, this piece sourced from Nashville’s ultra-cool The Dress Theory absolutely sets the tone for a rockin’ Nashville party.

We also love all the creative inserts of calligraphy throughout the wedding space. Not only did the talented team hang a calligraphed backdrop (how great are those cider cans for punchy party photos?!) but the classic white wedding cake is calligraphed, too!

This styled shoot was the shoot of my DREAMS. We went for a dessert bohemian vibe – and Natalie and Kyle looked like rockstars.

We wanted an edgy look that would be perfect for any season, really going for the minimalistic and modern look. We had a custom-built, vintage motorcycle as their getaway car, the venue was in Nashville’s only cidery, and the real-life couple had a vow renewal on site.

The bride’s dress, by Rue De Seine really brought the whole shoot together with a fun, different vibe, with her red booties. She looked like a goddess. The groom was also stylish, with a maroon jacket on.

The vendors on this shoot were all incredible – really pushing some boundaries of what your standard southern wedding looks like. We had a calligrapher write on the cake (!!!), a dessert bar instead of a massive cake, some darker colors, some amazing invitations, and plants galore, to replace your typical blush colored flowers.

This truly was a dream – and I am so excited about it!
