Planning from Brazil with help from Wedbali, Carlisa & André chose the most breathtaking Balinese waterfall for their vows. And while one might think “What more decoration could one need?” Wedbali constructed the most glorious floral ceremony arch that complemented the surrounding nature perfectly with tropical foliage and white roses.

Our Love Story

We met while we were doing volunteer work, in a project that is focused on taking care of homeless people. I (Carlisa) was responsible for organizing and collecting donations that would be used for the construction of an itinerant bathroom. André contacted me to donate a water tank. When we met for the first time I introduced him to the project and he fell in love with the project and voluntary work. That’s when our love started.

We were united for our desire to help others. It’s a good way to start a family, don’t you think? Three years after meeting we got married, and voluntary work made part of our lives.

The Wedding Style

The wedding was simple and minimalistic like our life philosophy. To translate that idea, that we based our color palette on the colors of nature: green, white, nude, blue. We have a classic style so we decided on white roses for the base of the arch and bouquet.

Our clothes also transmitted the minimalist lifestyle. For the jewels, we chose a simple and classic yellow gold ring, and I wore pearls to symbolize transforming difficulties into beauty.

Unique Details & Favorite Moments

The place made everything unique. Our day was a true moment of celebration and connection, one with each other, and with nature. We felt all of the energy of the waterfall and that connected us with the divine.

Carlisa: I can’t choose one moment, for me, everything was so perfect and also so fast that it is a difficult choice for just one moment.

Andre: My favorite moment was our wedding vows.

The Photography

We liked that our photos were spontaneous and natural, but at the same time artistic. It’s not easy to make photos like that. We knew Vladimir and Borodenok‘s work from Instagram and it was love at first sight.

Advice to Other Couples

We were really happy with the services of Wedbali, they solved everything for us. We married very far from our home country (we live in Brazil) and everything was chosen from a distance and in short notice, based on a confident relationship with the company. Everything was perfect and we just concentrated on enjoying the moment.

The Honeymoon

We decided to stay in Bali for our honeymoon and the hotel Como Uma Canggu was just the perfect atmosphere to live our romantic moments after the wedding.
