As a Francophile myself (it’s true, I’ve lived many summers in Paris!) I am thrilled to see Manon bringing her Parisian point-of-view to Brooklyn. What does this influence mean for her gowns? Each piece is gorgeous & statement-making on its own. Sexy & modern, with eye-catching embellishments – all you’ll need to add is some tousled, textured waves, your sexy SO & a motorcycle getaway (let’s say a Honda Triumph to inject a little wild American fun).

Inspired by Manon’s Parisian roots, and each top is named from a street in Paris and each skirt from a street in New York. I spent some time “creating” my own dream dress on their site & found the perfect Claire Eliza match: Blanche Jones. It’s a playful cross top paired with a feminine floral-embellished skirt open at the front to show off a little leg.

This story starts with an inspiration: A summer in Provence, the smell of the sun warming your skin, the crickets’ songs that I can hear from my window. The warm light from the curtains that let the sunrise unveil our sleepy faces. Then come the shapes; the soft flow from an unstructured drape falling along a bare leg, a plunging neckline to allow my lips to fall on your nape. Your hips dandling in some light, flowery ruffles…you look like a dream.
