Budding at-home chefs, adopters of the 2020 Sourdough Craze, forever foodies: today's Etsy gift list is for you!
May we introduce to you our personal favorite private chef & wedding caterer, Gazoz Kitchen. Based in Napa Valley and owned by celebrated pastry chef Rebecca Eichenbaum, you are literally “living the life” if you ever get to hire her for your wedding, celebration, brunch or whatever may call for such scrumptious delights.
How do I know? I've been a lucky benefactor of Chef Rebecca's sourdough bread, out-of-this-world pastries & meals for years. Since our heartbreaking parting of ways, I've had the pleasure of getting my table filled with Gazoz Kitchen's food through her Virtual Cooking Classes – held on Google Meet! They are so simple & so fun: log on and you're cooking alongside Chef Rebecca in the comfort of your own kitchen, with the freedom to ask questions and get help literally while you're cooking. An interactive cooking experience that has forever been missing from YouTube cooking videos!
Slow Bread: A Two-Part Sourdough Bread Baking Workshop
Just in time for gifting season, Gazoz Kitchen is selling tickets to her Slow Bread class, a two-part Sourdough Bread Baking Workshop perfect for beginners AND expert bakers looking to hone their skills and see more consistent results.
We think this would be an amazing gift for your foodie friends, bread lovers and anyone who you'd normally give an “experiential gift” to – giving you both a way to do something together, virtually. If you miss cooking with friends, Mom or maybe Grandma, here's your chance to do so with Chef Rebecca as your teacher!
The course takes place over two Saturdays – January 16 & 30, 2021 – and costs $60 per person (um, what a steal!) You can learn more & buy your tickets here. Just know that only 20 tickets are available – to give plenty of room to ask questions – and you better believe I'm buying myself a spot.
On to Gazoz Kitchen's Etsy gift list! Chef Rebecca definitely knows plenty about supporting small businesses. Buying her produce from local farmers, markets & even foraging a wild bounty herself, she is the epitome of responsible, sustainable, local dining. So when it comes to shopping, Etsy fits her ethos professionally & personally (I happen to know that Chef Rebecca has a penchant for vintage clothing…)
