Good morning!

On the Facebook page yesterday we were talking resolutions. Well actually our personal mantras for 2012 ~ you know the sort of thing: ‘Be Fearless' ‘Find Balance' ‘Live Life To The Full'.  Well, my mantra for Bridal Musings in the new year is ‘Don't Forget The Wedding Music'

When I first started the blog, I had all these grand plans to post potential wedding songs and to include couple's first dance songs in real wedding features. Because music is a HUGE part of any wedding ~ the right song at the right moment can evoke such strong emotions creating the perfect mood. It can make you and your guests laugh, cry, dance or well and truly rock out.

But, guess how many ‘musical' posts I did in 2011? One. Just this one lonely post. *Hangs head in shame.*

So, dear readers, expect Bridal Musings to sound a whole lot better in 2012!

Starting with this gorgeous wedding in which two loved up musicians say ‘I Do'. Leo and Michelle's suitably musical themed wedding is ALL kinds of awesome from the navy, purple and grey colour scheme to the couple's adorable first look and their seriously stylish attire.

Don't you just love it when the groom dons a hat?

We'll join Leo and Michelle again tomorrow to see more of their stunning ceremony, the cool group shots and fantastic musical DIY touches at their reception!

Many thanks to Tin Sparrow Studio for sharing these beautiful images. Check out their blog and Facebook page for more of their photography goodness.

Please do let me know ~ did you like having the option to listen to music as you read? Are there any music related features/inspiration you'd like me to include in future posts?

Ps. If you're looking for more musical inspiration head over to Soundtrack To I Do and Hi Fi Weddings ~ they are wedding blogs dedicated to music and they're both extremely very fabulous.
