With a name like ‘Ooh La La', you just know it's going to be good…

In fact, good doesn't even scratch the surface of this exquisite lace dress by Claire Pettibone.

I'm a little bit obsessed with Claire Pettibone's whole Spring 2012 collection. Truth be told, I'm actually obsessed with all her previous collections and her limited edition heirloom lingerie collection. To top it all off the lady herself seems so lovely too!

It's the antique lace, embroidery and whimsical nature of her creations that I find so captivating. So choosing just one dress to include in this post was painfully difficult.

But of all the dresses in the Spring 2012 collection, it was Ooh La La that stole my heart.

Here's why…

Why I adore Ooh La La… From the unique, antique blue “Paris” lace embroidery and the tiny pink roses which adorn the dress to the sheer back and delicate lace cap sleeves, and even the playful name, this dress is unlike any other wedding dress I've seen before. It reminds me of ornate wallpaper.

The bride who wears Oh La La wears her ‘something blue' with pride as the perfect shade of palest blue is woven into the very fabric of the gown. Swoon.

Perfect for… Bohemian brides looking for a unique, beautiful and romantic wedding gown suitable for frolicking around the desserts of Mexico in.

Not so perfect for… Curvy brides who may prefer a little more structure to their dresses eg. corsetry or uplift.

Team it with… Flowers in your hair and delicate rose gold accessories. Oh and a handsome groom!

Have you fallen for Ooh La La too?
